At the suggestion of one of my students I picked up a few 3doodlers for class.
This little contraption prints PLA plastic like a hot glue gun in order to develop fun hand drawn 3D models.
I have not sat down to draw in quite some time. I plugged this sucker in, waited until I saw a green light, and plugged away at a drawing in PLA. In a couple if minutes I had my first project: a Ryan Face Bobble.
Tomorrow I unleash this on the students to see what they make. Here is to hoping I see functional contraptions, glorious wall hangings, and maybe even a 3d comic.
